thanks back at ya. I'm trying to slowly build it up into something 
I keep meaning to ask if you ever did any storyboarding classes when you were in school. I'm trying to figure out how to draw parts of a fight scene and I can't figure out how to start. Any ideas?
I did take a storyboarding class at school, but unfortunately most classes at my school were a joke, I really wouldn't be any help at all. I know this message is a couple weeks late in getting to you, a lot has been happening lately. Were you able to figure it all out? What parts in particular were you struggling with?
Mostly avoiding a sequence of drawings (not as tight as a storyboard mind you) that would show up to four characters fighting an ogre in a contained area. I have lots of action-y pose references saved, and I can always look for more, but I am struggling with the sequence being readable and making sense. Instead of just random hits (picture isolated anime jump stills with speed lines.. haha, don't want that) I want you to know that so and so did this and got knocked over here and then scrambled over here etc... I think I just have to buckle down and do a lot of little thumbnails. But I wouldn't know how to believably choreograph anything, so maybe I need to pop in a LOTR dvd and see how they handle it too. That or check out Hulk comic fight sequences or something.
